Authorities say a man driving a dump truck struck and killed a construction worker near Cincinnati.

The Butler County Coroner's Office says 38-year-old Terry Garrison of West Union died after the dump truck ran him over late Friday in Fairfield Township.

The driver, 52-year-old Timothy Tomlin, of Hammersville, was driving a truck loaded with fresh asphalt in a construction zone, when he backed up and struck Garrison. Police say no charges have been filed.

The coroner conducted an autopsy on Garrison's body Saturday morning, but the results weren't released as of Saturday afternoon.
