Sleep Innovations has announced an expansion of its manufacturing plant in Baldwyn that will include 40 new jobs.

The West Long Branch, N.J.-based company sells its "memory foam" technology products in retailers like Kohl's, Macy's, Wal-Mart, Sears, Sam's Club and Costco.

The plant presently has 200 workers.

Steve Setzer, Sleep Innovations' executive vice president of operations, says by next summer, the 300,000-square-foot facility will have a 60,000-square-foot addition with new equipment.

The Baldwyn plant will produce polyurethane foam used in making the memory foam used for mattresses, mattress toppers, pillows and other specialty sleep products.

Sleep Innovations has nine facilities across North America.
