The Manitoba government is investigating the death of a Saskatchewan man in a workplace accident.
RCMP in Virden, Man., say the 32-year-old man was working with a load of steel at an oil drilling site last Sunday when the load shifted, pinning him.
The injured man was eventually freed by co-workers and was then rushed to hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The man's name has not been released.
Manitoba Workplace Health and Safety is investigating his death. (CJOB)
