CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- DuPont expects about 150 workers at its Belle plant to retire within the next few years and the company is looking for people to replace them.
Plant manager James O'Connor told the Charleston Daily Mail that the total number of new hires will depend on individual workers' retirement plans. He says the company expects 50 to 75 workers to retire both this year and in 2012.
About 370 people are employed at the Belle plant.
