COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- State economic development officials say a German aerospace supplier will invest $3 million in a plant in Charleston and hire 40 workers over the next few years.
The South Carolina Commerce Department said Wednesday that Dannecker Fine-Tec is looking at existing buildings in the area for its operations.
The company will begin hiring in June and plans to get all its workers locally.
Dannecker Fine-Tec makes parts for high-tech companies in a range of industries, including aerospace and medical.
