BEAVERTON, Ore. (AP) -- Sports apparel maker Nike Inc. said Tuesday that it named Carl Grebert vice president and general manager of Nike Japan.
Grebert, 41, has been with Nike for 13 years and held senior management positions in the company's Asia Pacific and European businesses.
Jim Godbout, who currently holds the position, will return to company headquarters in Beaverton, Ore., for a new role in global sales.
Shares of Nike rose 65 cents to close at $81.75.
