CINCINNATI (AP) -- The Procter & Gamble Co. has voluntarily recalled its four-hour decongestant VapoSpray after finding that the product's formulation may not last until the expiration date.
The company said in a news release that the recall of VapoSpray 4-Hour Nasal Spray by Sinex was not the result of a consumer complaint.
The consumer products giant is removing the product from shelves across the U.S., where it was distributed.
The product has a UPC code of 3 23900 00082 7.
Before June 2009, it was sold as Sinex Nasal Spray in two varieties: the spray had a UPC Code of 3 23900 00082 7, and the Ultra Fine Mist had a UPC Code of 3 23900 00085 8.
Shoppers who have products with those UPC codes marked with an expiration date before June 2013 should throw them out.
