Eaton Buys Remaining Micro Innovation Shares

Maker of parts, hydraulics and electrical equipment for a range of industries has acquired the remaining 50 percent of outstanding shares of Micro Innovation Holding AG.

CLEVELAND (AP) -- Eaton Corp., which makes parts, hydraulics and electrical equipment used in a range of industries, said Tuesday it has acquired for an undisclosed sum the remaining 50 percent of outstanding shares of Swiss company Micro Innovation Holding AG.

Based in St. Gallen, Switzerland, Micro Innovation manufactures human machine interfaces, programmable logic controllers and input/output devices.

Eaton gained its initial stake in Micro Innovation as part of Eaton's 2008 acquisition of The Moeller Group.
