TROY, Mich. (AP) -- White House energy and climate adviser Carol Browner will join automotive, academic and government leaders near Detroit for a round-table discussion of advanced vehicle research and development in Michigan.

The discussion Monday in Troy also includes U.S. Rep. Gary Peters.

The Michigan Democrat has sponsored a bill designed to expand advanced technology passenger and commercial vehicle development.
