The Leaf-Chronicle in Clarksville reports that the recall is the first since the recession started and is due to an increase in orders. A plant statement says the employees have been notified and are to return Monday.
Following this recall, Trane will have a total of 1,139 employees in Clarksville. The number of laid off employees will drop to 362.
Trane executives did not say if more recalls are planned.
