HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) -- Government officials are helping Genentech celebrate Tuesday at its $400 million manufacturing center in Hillsboro.
The Oregonian reports the drug maker employees 250 workers at the warehouse and factory, which is seeking federal certification to make three cancer drugs.
Oregon landed Genentech four years ago, and officials hope it will attract more bio-science businesses.
