Mattress World Recalls Mattress Sets

Consumer Product Safety Commission says voluntary recall includes mattresses sold between May and September because they pose a fire hazard.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Mattress World recalled 750 mattress sets Wednesday, saying the bedding posed a fire hazard.

The voluntary recall, announced by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, includes twin, full, queen and king mattresses manufactured by the Dallas company and sold between May and September.

The bed sets sold for $35 to $105 in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

The affected mattress sets are blue floral, white floral and taupe floral.

Only sets with the prototype ID MWQ or MWFOBXQ on tags attached to the mattress and box spring are included in the recall.

No injuries have been reported.
