MAQUOKETA, Iowa (AP) -- State economic officials have approved a package of incentives to help Maquoketa (muh-KO'-kih-tuh) land a $15 million hydraulic controls plant that is expected to employ 170.

The Iowa Department of Economic Development Board on Thursday awarded state incentives to HUSCO International, of Waukesha, Wis., to renovate, expand and equip an existing building.

HUSCO supplies hydraulic controls to Deere & Co., Case New Holland, and other offroad equipment suppliers. The company announced in February that it was planning to build its third major manufacturing facility in North America.

The incentives include $800,000 from the Economic Development Set-Aside program and Enterprise Zone benefits.
