DELPHI, Ind. (AP) -- Chromcraft Revington Inc. will lay off 150 workers and stop manufacturing at its Delphi factory by May 30, as it shifts work to Asian suppliers.
The West Lafayette-based furniture maker plans to sell equipment at the Delphi site and use it as a warehouse and distribution center. Delphi is about 20 miles northeast of Lafayette.
Chromcraft also reported a net loss of $8.3 million, or $1.84 per share, for the fourth quarter of last year. That compares with a loss of $741,000, or 17 cents per share, for the same period in 2006.
The company has already closed or sold plants in North Carolina and South Carolina and a warehouse in Knoxville, Tenn.
