NEW HAMPTON, Iowa (AP) — Authorities say several fire crews are fighting a blaze at a food processing company in northeast Iowa.
The Chickasaw County sheriff's office says it received a call at about 3:45 a.m. Friday of a fire at Bay Valley Foods in New Hampton.
The company makes powdered goods like nondairy coffee creamers and soup bases. Local officials say the facility employees 66 people./
The investigation is continuing.
