Volvo Subsidiary Gets Hybrid Bus Contract

Nova Bus will supply 141 hybrid buses to TransLink in Vancouver; contract includes option for an additional 110 buses.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden — Volvo Bus Corp. subsidiary, Nova Bus, received an order for 141 hybrid buses to TransLink in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
 
The contract includes and option for an additional 110 buses.
 
The buses will be produced at two of Nova's Canadian plants, with deliveries scheduled to begin in mid-2009.
