ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Tupperware Brands Corp., which sells storage and serving products, said Wednesday a fire damaged its South Carolina warehouse but did not affect its manufacturing capability.
The fire occurred Tuesday at Tupperware's Hemingway, S.C., facility. The company said there were no injuries.
Tupperware said it is assessing structural damage to the facility as well as the product stored there. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
The company said it has insurance coverage and does not currently expect a significant impact, though it's still assessing the financial ramifications.
Shares of Tupperware fell 9 cents to close at $33.60.
