RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) — A fire has forced the Cretex Concrete Products West plant in Riverton to close down.
The fire occurred early Friday morning and damaged two storage rooms, the boiler room and a testing room.
The plant manufacturers concrete pipe and other precast products.
The company employs about a dozen people.
Company sales engineer Bob Lebeda said the fire will affect projects under construction across western Wyoming that the company had been supplying materials.
He said he's not sure how long the plant will be down for repairs.
