NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. (AP) — Respironics Inc. broke ground Thursday on a $32 million plant where its sleep therapy devices will be built.
The 165,000-square-foot plant is being built at the Westmoreland Business and Research Park in Upper Burrell, Pa. The new plant will be located about seven miles from the Respironics main campus and headquarters in Murrysville and should open in about 16 months, the company said.
Respironics makes devices for people who need help breathing. The new plant will help the company further develop its obstructive sleep apnea business, official said.
