YODER, Kan. (AP) -- A Wichita-based aircraft supplier says it will expand its satellite plant near Yoder and hire 60 more employees.
Precision Pattern Interiors is a producer of high-end aircraft interiors. It has begun a $1 million renovation of a building at the Hutchinson Air Base Industrial Tract south of Yoder. The company will also add some $400,000 in new equipment and triple its work force.
Three area towns and Reno County plan to contribute $50,000 to the project.
The company is also expanding plants in Denton, Texas, and Savanna, Ga. In all, the company will add 200 workers to its 900-employee work force nationwide.
