NOKIA, Finland -- Metso Corp. has sold its spreader roll manufacturing business and related assets in Nokia, Finland, to a group of Finnish investors. The business will operate under the name Finbow Oy.
The spreader roll manufacturing business is part of Metso Paper and employs 20 people. The employees will transfer to Finbow Oy.
Financial details were not disclosed.
Concurrent with the divestment, Metso and Finbow Oy have agreed on a supply contract for spreader rolls.
