NEWPORT, N.H. (AP) — The Pepsi Bottling Group plant in Newport is closing next month, affecting 30 jobs. The company says 10 of the jobs at the distribution center will remain in the area, with the rest being transferred to company operations in Manchester.
 
The closing comes as the international company reorganizes.
 
The company says after the closing, it will distribute beverages from its Manchester plant or from a co-op in Massachusetts.
