Honeywell To Hire A "Significant Number" For Illinois Plant

Honeywell announced plans to hire production workers at Freeport facility.

Honeywell Sensing and Control announced plans to hire a “significant number” of production workers at its Freeport, Ill., plant.

“We are currently planning to hire skilled full-time and part-time production associates. Associates must focus on meeting customer requirements in the area of on-time delivery and quality,” Dan Aho, Human Resources Leader said. “Within our plans, there are some machinists’ and similar positions that require the completion of structured apprenticeship programs or other training.”

According to Honeywell, the company is still reviewing plans, so it is not releasing a specific number of employees that will be hired or the positions that will need to be filled.
