Sweet Home Alabama: BAE To Lease Plant In Cordova, Ala

Company will lease the Warrior River Steel facility beginning in the summer of 2007.

BAE Systems said Tuesday that it will lease a manufacturing plant in Cordova, Alabama, starting in the summer of 2007.

BAE Systems will lease the Warrior River Steel, LLC site that is currently serving as a metal manufacturing and welding facility.

The plant will produce ammunition magazines for BAE Systems’ Advanced Gun System and missile launcher assemblies for its Mk57 Vertical Launching System.
