WINCHESTER, Ind. (AP) – Construction is set to begin in April on a $20 million expansion project that is expected to create 125 new jobs at Honda parts supplier Tomasco LLC.
Tomasco announced plans Monday for the expansion, which will include a new production line for parts that will be shipped to a new Honda plant planned for Greensburg. Full production at the new Tomasco line is expected by October 2008.
''We're excited and happy to have Tomasco grow and become a bigger part of the city of Winchester,'' said Mayor Steve Croyle.
Tomasco will receive more than $1 million in tax credits and other incentives from the city and state.
