China Automotive Systems, Inc. said Tuesday that it has set up its first North American office. U.S. operations will be based out of Troy, Mich., and focus on market development, R&D and after-sales service in North America.
“We see tremendous technology collaboration and growth opportunities between our new U.S. office and our existing Chinese operations,” said Hanlin Chen, Chairman and CEO of China Automotive Systems.
China Automotive Systems is based in Hubei Province, China, and supplies power steering components and systems to the Chinese automotive industry.
