The average workweek for production or nonsupervisory workers on private payrolls was unchanged at 33.8 hours in March.

Average hourly earnings of production or nonsupervisory workers on private payrolls increased by 3 cents in March to $16.49, following increases in January and February. The average weekly earnings increased by 0.2 % over the month to $557.36. Over the year, average hourly earnings increased by 3.4 % and average weekly earnings increased by 3.7 %.
