Coffeyville Resources announced Friday that the company has marked one year without a lost-time accident. The total time equates to approximately 657,000 employee hours.
The refinery also won a national award for its safety record earlier this year for achieving a 42 percent reduction in the total recordable incident rate in 2005.
Coffeyville Resources is an independent refiner of high value transportation fuels and a premier producer of ammonia and urea ammonia nitrate fertilizers.
