Fluor Inks Contract For Pemex Plants

Fluor will build two modular cryogenic plants for Pemex in a contract worth $276 million.

ICA Fluor, an industrial engineering and construction company, said Tuesday that it has signed a contract worth $276 million for the engineering, procurement, construction and start-up support services for two modular cryogenic plants for Pemex Gas y Petroquímica Básica.

The plants will be located in the gas processing center of Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, employ turbo-expander technology and have a capacity of 200 million standard cubic feet-per-day.
