Second Major Expansion For DENSO Kentucky Manufacturing Facility

By 2010, investment of $27.1 million and 150 jobs for Mt. Sterling.

KYOSAN DENSO Manufacturing Kentucky announced Monday that it plans to expand its 80,700 square foot facility in Mt. Sterling, KY by 84,500 square feet. An investment of $27.1 million and 150 new jobs are expected by 2010.

“With this expansion, we will be able to increase our production of automotive fuel pump modules and their components, including fuel filters and flanges,” said KYOSAN DENSO President Shunichiro Hiromasa.

Construction is scheduled to begin in August and be completed by March 2007, with production scheduled to start in June 2007.
