It's Oct. 6, and you know what that means — it's Manufacturing Day! Even though today is the official national day, manufacturers have been celebrating all week with tours, presentations and other events. Manufacturing Day, a celebration of modern manufacturing, is meant to inspire the next generation of manufacturers.
The Manufacturing Day mission is to “addresses common misperceptions about manufacturing by giving manufacturers an opportunity to open their doors and show, in a coordinated effort, what manufacturing is — and what it isn’t.”
