Bilsing Automation North America (Clinton Township, MI) has announced the availability of its GT30 and GT40 family of pneumatic grippers, which provide cost-effective clamping solutions in metal assembly. According to the company, they are durable enough to exceed a million cycles. The GT30 is a single-jaw gripper with a clamping force of 650 N, while the GT40 has two dynamic jaws with a 1,000 N capacity. Both sizes offer quick opening/closing, at 0.2 seconds per cycle. All available styles offer numerous choices in clamp tips, jaw shapes, and choice of rear or lateral mount configuration.
