The PV 102 is a 100 mV/inch/second piezoelectric velocity sensor, and the certified version has ATEX, IEC, and CSA hazardous area certifications. According to the company, the PV 102 is ideal for condition monitoring of motors, pumps, fans, compressors, and turbines, and may be used to compliment proximity probes in a protection system. In addition, the PV 102 has a more stable sensitivity with changing temperature, compared to other velocity sensors, and has a 316L stainless steel construction.
