SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- JDA Software Group Inc., which makes programs to help retailers manage inventory, said Wednesday it named Richard M. Haddrill to its board on Jan. 1.
Since 2004, Haddrill has served as president and CEO of Bally Technologies, Inc., a maker of gaming devices and computerized monitoring, accounting and player-tracking systems, the company said.
Shares of JDA rose 25 cents to $28.27 in midday trading.
