ROUND ROCK, Texas (AP) -- Computer maker Dell Inc. said Thursday it named Steve Schuckenbrock the president of Dell Services.
Schuckenbrock replaces Peter Altabef, who is leaving Dell after overseeing the integration of Perot Systems into the company.
Dell bought the technology services provider for $3.9 billion in 2009. Dell said the integration has strengthened its services business, expanded its portfolio and set a "strong foundation" for growth.
Shares of Dell slid 25 cents to $14.14 in early afternoon trading.
