NEW YORK (AP) -- Nintendo Co. will drop the price for its handheld portable game machine DSi and its larger sibling, the DSi XL, by $20 each on Sept. 12.
The Japanese video game company, which unveiled a 3-D version of the popular gaming system in June, said Monday the DSi will now cost $150. The XL will cost $170.
Nintendo has not yet announced a launch date for the 3DS, which displays games in 3-D without the need for special glasses.
