Tessera Technologies Chairman Steps Down

Company said Monday that Bruce McWilliams will step down as chairman and be succeeded by President and CEO Henry R. Nothhaft.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- Tessera Technologies Inc. said Monday that Bruce McWilliams will step down as chairman and be succeeded by President and CEO Henry R. Nothhaft.

McWilliams, who had served as chairman since February 2002, will remain a board member.

Nothhaft, who is staying on as president and CEO, had served as vice chairman prior to taking on the chairman role.

Tessera licenses miniaturization technology for electronic devices.
