The plant is the company's largest U.S. manufacturing facility.

Frito-Lay has announced a $200 million expansion in Georgia.

On July 8, 2020, Governor Brian Kemp said the new operations in Perry, Georgia will create 120 jobs. The expansion will add a new tortilla chip line as well as a second Baked Cheetos Puffs production line.

The move will also create space for further development and provide additional warehouse space.

Frito-Lay has been manufacturing in Perry for more than 30 years. According to the company, it is a key contributor to the Georgia economy.

The site is the largest Frito-Lay manufacturing facility in the United States with more than 1,000 employees.
