Scientists in India have developed an iPad-like tablet device expected to be available for the low, low price of just $35. The Indian government wants to price the tablet device to be inexpensive enough for young students to purchase, while promoting widespread connectivity and literacy among its citizens. Compare the $35 price tag with the starting cost of an iPad ($499), and you've got yourself a good deal.
