Intel recently settled a federal antitrust lawsuit, which alledges a decade's worth of wrongdoing on the part of the world's largest semiconductor maker. According to the Federal Trade Commission, the deal is a victory for consumers who overpaid for Intel computer chips for the better part of the last 10 years. However, some are skeptical as to whether the FTC's actions against Intel will actually affect the public all that much.
