Intel CFO Stacy Smith used the words "robust demand" when asked to describe his company's spectacular third quarter, one which saw the tech giant's net income jump 59 percent. Sales forecasts in a lot of markets had been dialed back for that particular quarter, but Intel somehow bucked the trend and performed better than just about anyone else. So what's Intel's secret?
