The folks at the Center for Healthcare Robotics at Georgia Tech decided to bring their PR2 pill-delivering robot, which was actually manufactured by California-based Willow Garage, to the CNN set for a visit with ever-enthusiastic news anchor Ali Velshi.

The folks at the Center for Healthcare Robotics at Georgia Tech decided to bring their PR2 pill-delivering robot, which was actually manufactured by California-based Willow Garage, to the CNN set for a visit with ever-enthusiastic news anchor Ali Velshi. What resulted was a semi-awkward and less-than-impressive demonstration. Despite this weak demonstration, personal robotics does have the potential to further revolutionize the industrial workplace by allowing humans to focus less on repetitive and menial tasks and more on creative and innovative tasks.
