Rolls-Royce's reputation took a hit recently when An Airbus executive suggested that Rolls-Royce was aware of a problem prior to the midair disintegration of a Trent 900 engine last week Can the engine manufacturer bounce back? One has to wonder, especially particularly if the company is forced to compensate affected airlines and undergo a complete overhaul of its faulty engine series.
