For reasons unknown to anyone but him, Techland gadget guru Doug Aamoth decided to test the so-called water-proof and fire-proof qualities of his hard drive. To accomplish this task, he cooked the hard drive, which contained priceless digital photos from his wedding day, at 550 degrees. He then submerged it in water. Risky move, Doug.
