Keeping your iPad protected from various harmful substances is a task easier stated than done. There's a lot of dust, dirt, grime and filth to be found on the plant floor. Techland gadget guru Doug Aamoth doesn't test out one protective iPad cover on the plant floor, instead he uses the "Chef Sleeve" for its intended purpose -- making toast.

But the end result is the same: Doug's iPad remains safe.
