Boeing Ignites Union Firestorm

Boeing's recent decision to build a non-union production line in South Carolina has ignited a legal firestorm. The National Labor Relations Board has accused the plane maker of breaking the law by adding the 787 production line in the notoriously non-union state. The NLRB added that Boeing's move is an attempt to retaliate against union workers.

The National Labor Relations Board has accused the plane maker of breaking the law by adding the 787 production line in the notoriously non-union state. The NLRB added that Boeing's move is an attempt to retaliate against union workers. Furthermore, the board asked Boeing to move assembly work to unionized plants in Washington state, where other 787s are assembled.
