Nutrition Labels on Booze

The U.S. Treasury Department, which regulates beer, wine and spirits, has released a new statement saying alcohol makers may include serving size, calories, carbohydrates and other nutritional data traditionally reserved for other food and beverage items. For now, this information will be voluntary.
