Fighting Real-Life Sea Monsters

U.S. and Canadian authorities are working together on a project straight from a sci-fi novel. The sea lamprey are an invasive species capable of decimating native species from the Great Lakes. The international effort to kill off the lamprey has reduced the population by 90 percent, but officials are hoping to drive down the species' number even further.
