The Tree of 40 Fruit is an ongoing series of hybridized fruit trees by contemporary artist Sam Van Aken. Each tree has the ability to grow more than 40 different varieties of stone fruits, including peaches, plums, apricots and nectarines. In the spring, each tree blossoms in variegated tons of pink and white before bearing a multitude of fruit through late summer and early fall.
