Magnolia Bakery, the Greenwich Village cupcake purveyor that took New York City by storm, has now set its sights on a more global presence. Under new franchise agreements and with the first new store planned to open in Qatar in early 2012, Magnolia is hoping that its new international customer base is just as sweet on cupcakes as New Yorkers.
